Living Water Field Visit to San Nicolas Huajuapan

Posted Dec 11, 2013

Recently Living Water completed a cistern at a primary school in the community of Huehuetlan within San Nicolas Huajuapan. Previously the school depended on a small cistern but they were often running out of water. The Living Water team was able to construct a larger concrete cistern at the school, which will be fed from a nearby springbox. We had the opportunity to be present for the \"inauguration\" of the cistern; we--along with the members of the community present--were excited to see clear running water out of the tap! Now the students will have plenty of water for drinking and hand-washing.
