Borehole rehabilitation

Care International in Kenya KALDDR-WASH program is USAID funded under the Millennium Water Alliance (MWA).The program aims to increase water storage capacity in arid lands, through improving natural and artificial storage to enhance access to safe and clean water.

The project is currently rehabilitating Dertu borehole water scheme in Lagdera sub county, Garissa County. This shall be realized through additional of a 100 cubic metres masonry tank. The new tank will increase the storage capacity from 100 cubic metres of the existing masonry tank.
