Improved hygiene and saniation for madahlibah

Madahlibah village is one Care KALDRR program sites, the village is in Balambala district is mainly inhabited by Somali community who are pastoral dropout, they are majorly agro-pastoralist with few practicing small scale enterprise of selling milk and farm produces. originally the community were pastoralist with nomadic lifestyle and open defecation was the order of the day, after the long and successive drought which caused a lot of damaged loss of livestock the community settled permanent in the village but with poor hygiene and sanitation status. after the program intervention there is evidence of drastic change in hygiene behavior and sanitation coverage its a matter of time before the community to be declared ODF.
