SWA Steering Committee Election Underway

Washington, D.C. | June 25, 2012

We are taking applications from qualified candidates to serve as CSO representatives on SWA Steering Committee.

The global Sanitation and Water for All Initiative (SWA) is an effort by governments and others to coordinate approaches to global WASH. At the urging of the US-based WASH sector, USAID recently announced its formal membership in the partnership on behalf of the US government.

MWA and End Water Poverty are holding an election to fill the vacant seat on the SWA Steering Committee for the northern civil society representative position. Applications for qualified candidates are now being taken, with a deadline of Friday, July 6. See the attached position advertisement and the Terms of Reference for more information.
