David Tsetse,

David Tsetse is a Ghanaian-American with over 22 years of professional experience in water, sanitation, hygiene, and environment program design, resource mobilization, strategy development, and implementation. He is the Global Lead of the Water, Sanitation, Hygiene, and Environment at Catholic Relief Services. Before joining Catholic Relief Services, Mr. Tsetse worked at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for over 14 years with long-term assignments in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Sudan, Denmark, and the USA. At UNICEF, he provided short-term technical advice to more than 90 countries worldwide. Mr. Tsetse also worked for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development in Sudan, and as an environmental scientist and exploration geologist in Ghana. He has a Ph.D. in Environment and Development from Leiden University, an MBA in Engineering Management from the University of Manchester UK, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the University of Ghana. He has Professional Executive Leadership and Management Certificates from the United Nations System Staff College, Harvard Business Publishing, Gordon Business Schools, Cooperate Learning Solutions, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Leadership from Indiana Tech, Fort Wayne. Mr. Tsetse is the author of the book Environmental Management in Development Countries. An Opportunity and Problem in Context Approach.
